For yeeears, I played the background singer for other people's visions. I held space, gave my all, and put my own dreams on pause, hoping someone would give me the same validation and support I freely gave. But here's the gag: I was put into spaces and places that were misaligned with me because they weren’t even aligned with themselves or the visions they had me supporting. People tend to operate based on how they feel about themselves and their if they don’t like themselves, that shit can get real messy.
Singing & Songwriting
For a long time, music was my personal diary, my cathartic release. Speaking my truth at home wasn’t safe, so I had to find ways to keep myself together. When I shared my desire to sing as a career with my brother (because I saw the power that music had done for me and wanted to share it with others) he hit me with: “Keep that as a hobby" and "go to college to get a real job as a Librarian of Congress.” You know, typical bullshit. LOL. And I’m not gonna hold you, for a while, it slowed me down, but something deep within my spirit, told me I can’t turn away from this.
Crochet
Crochet started as a way to keep my hands busy. I was always experimenting, DIYing, and just inventing stuff. Eventually, crochet earned me the nickname Grandma Lizzie. But I was not out here busting out granny squares, LOL. I found myself creating lingerie, intricate cable knit crop tops, bags, Amigurumi… things people wouldn’t typically think I would make. I found that I like to challenge myself in recreating aesthetically pleasing things which I can definitely say its that Libra rising tings.

Soul Strategy came from seeing patterns — in my life, in the companies I’ve worked with, in the brands I’ve supported, and in the people I’ve met along the way. I’ve seen folks (myself included) play small because they don’t trust themselves or believe their ideas are valid. I’ve seen organizations misuse words like empathy and integrity while overworking teams, breadcrumbing support, and losing sight of their mission.
